Natural Colour – No Additives
The depth of YOSIMA colours does not come from synthetic pigments, but from the natural mineral properties of the clay and earth used in production. Clay acts simultaneously as a binder and a colourant, giving surfaces a genuinely natural and authentic visual character.

The result is a range of coloured clay finishes, developed for interior design applications that demand the highest standards of quality. CLAYTEC selects specific clays for each base tone, ensuring rich and stable colour depth across the palette.
Natural Origins of Colour
Red: natural iron oxides
Yellow: iron hydroxides
Green: ultra-fine iron particles embedded in the mineral structure
Grey: presence of manganese
Black: natural charcoal
White: pure kaolin clay
146 Shades – The YOSIMA Spectrum
Based on seven carefully developed colour palettes, the YOSIMA catalogue offers a total of 146 clay shades. Each palette is created from a combination of two base colours, available in four main variations and three additional lighter tones.
Together, these variations form a subtle and sophisticated chromatic spectrum, ideal for those seeking natural surfaces with refined aesthetic sensitivity.

Please Note About Digital Colours:
Real mineral colours cannot be reproduced with complete accuracy in digital format. The colour charts shown here approximate the actual shades, but some variation is always to be expected. For this reason, two zoom levels are available when viewing each tone — however, the colours may still appear slightly lighter on screen than they are in reality.
The surface texture also influences colour perception and depends on the type of plaster and the application technique. The YOSIMA colour charts (both print and digital versions) are for guidance only and should not be used as a final colour reference.
