Clay plaster design

Thanks to the plastic properties of natural clay, clay plaster can be easily shaped into a wide variety of forms and textures. This inherent workability, combined with the broad spectrum of mineral pigments—either naturally present in the clay or added—enables the creation of unique surfaces with strong aesthetic expression.

The result is visually striking surfaces that offer a rich sensory experience and immediately evoke a sense of well-being.

Below, we present several design possibilities using clay plaster. The examples feature YOSIMA finish, CLAYTEC coloured clay plaster, and CLAYTEC fine plasters, applied in thicknesses ranging from 2 mm to 1 cm. We have also included rammed earth–style surfaces, which are achieved using clay plaster applied at approximately 1 cm thickness.
